To set up Streaming Smarters Pro, download the version compatible with your operating system, select Login with Xtream Codes API, and input your connection credentials. Streaming Smarters Pro is one of the most widely used free multi-platform players, compatible with Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Samsung Smart TVs, and LG Smart TVs. Follow this comprehensive setup guide to load your Networks, configure media players, and optimize playback performance using your StreamHub Membership.
Supported Platforms and App Installation
Streaming Smarters Pro is highly flexible and runs natively on almost all consumer media streaming hardware:
- Android TV & Phones: Download directly from the Google Play Store.
- Firestick & Fire TV: Must be sideloaded via the Downloader app using the direct code.
- Apple iOS & tvOS: Download the official client from the App Store.
- Windows & macOS: Download the desktop app directly from the official website.
- Samsung & LG Smart TVs: Locate and install the app from the Samsung Apps Store or LG Content Store.
Step-by-Step: Configuring via Xtream Codes API (Recommended)
Connecting with the Xtream Codes API is faster and more reliable than processing massive M3U text files. Use your StreamHub credentials:
- Launch the App: Select the user type (usually TV or Mobile).
- Add New User: Click Add User or Add New Playlist.
- Choose Login Method: Select Login with Xtream Codes API.
- Enter Account Parameters:
- Any Name: Enter a description (e.g., "StreamHub").
- Username: Enter your playlist username.
- Password: Enter your playlist password.
- Server URL: Enter the host address and port (e.g.,
http://stream.domain.com:8080).
- Add User: Click Add User to initiate the channel and movie directory download.

Step-by-Step: Configuring via M3U Playlist File or URL
If you prefer to load your playlist via M3U link:
- Select Load Your Playlist or File/URL.
- Select M3U URL as the Playlist Type.
- Paste the long M3U URL provided by StreamHub into the File Path / URL field.
- Give the playlist a name and click Add User.
Note: Large playlists containing more than 50,000 items may cause the app to crash on low-RAM hardware (like older Firesticks or smart TVs). If this happens, clean and filter your playlist before loading it.
To check if your M3U link contains dead Networks or is too large to load, run it through our M3U Playlist Checker.
Recommended Playback Settings
For the best viewing experience, configure the internal media player engines:
| Setting Category | Recommended Option | Technical Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Stream Format | HLS (m3u8) | Smoother buffering and adaptive bitrate handling |
| Select Player | Built-in Player (ExoPlayer) | Native integration with Android hardware codecs |
| Time Format | 24 Hours | Matches global TV schedules |
| EPG Refresh | Every 24 Hours | Avoids excessive bandwidth usage during startup |
Troubleshooting Common Streaming Smarters Pro Issues
1. App Stuck on "Downloading Live Networks..."
This occurs when the playlist database is too large for the device's memory. You can use our online tools to sort your playlist and remove redundant categories:
- To clean and reduce the size of your playlist, visit the M3U Playlist Cleaner.
- To restructure categories, visit the M3U Playlist Sorter.
2. "Invalid Details" Error on Login
Ensure you have not added a trailing slash / at the end of the server URL. Double-check for typos, especially upper/lower case letters in the password.
